On April 8, 2025, the chapter proudly delivered donations to children in need at Mountain View Hospital, a clinical site for our NU 326 Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing course. Totes, placed in each nursing classroom, enabled students to contribute clothes, toiletries, and various activity items, reflecting the chapter’s commitment to supporting vulnerable populations.
The new Sigma member orientation took place on April 11, 2025, serving as a pivotal moment for incoming members. During this event, faculty members and new inductees united to complete a meaningful philanthropy project, where they engaged in the creative task of painting bags for the Calhoun County Department of Human Resources, exemplifying teamwork and dedication to service.
The induction ceremony occurred on April 18, 2025, at the second floor of the Theron Montgomery building, marking a significant milestone for the new members as they officially joined the chapter.
In addition, the Zeta Xi Chapter organized an enjoyable fundraising paint night at the South Complex. Participants, for a fee of $30, enjoyed an evening of creativity under the guidance of a faculty member, fostering an environment of artistic expression and chapter involvement.
